Our Services

Online Individual EMDR Therapy

In Individual online EMDR therapy, it’s all about you and your healing journey. Through secure virtual sessions, we guide you through personalized trauma processing and emotional healing. Together, we’ll use EMDR techniques to ease distressing memories and symptoms, right from the comfort of your own space. We create an environment that strongly parallels an in-person setting using HIPAA-compliant software that makes online sessions just a click away.

EMDR Intensives

In our EMDR intensives, you’ll experience concentrated therapy sessions over a shorter timeframe, allowing you to more deeply dive into the healing process. These intensives offer longer sessions beyond the traditional 50 minutes and can be scheduled weekly if needed.  Picture multiple hours of therapy each day, scheduled over consecutive days or a weekend, providing an immersive experience tailored to your needs and goals. EMDR intensives can lead to faster symptom reduction and significant benefits, particularly for Complex PTSD. So if you’re ready to tackle your trauma an EMDR intensive might be right for you.

Online Couples Therapy

Whether your relationship is on the rocks or you want to deepen your connection, our online couples therapy sessions are dedicated to nurturing both of you and your relationship. We’ll work alongside you, providing guidance and tools to overcome obstacles and reach new heights in your relationship. Plus, EMDR Therapy can be done with couples! All you need a laptop and a willingness to invest, so let’s embark on this journey together.

Therapy for Victims of Crime

If you’ve been the victim of a serious crime, our aim is to provide a safe environment that allows you to reprocess the complex trauma. We’re here to support you through your healing through specialized techniques like EMDR therapy and other evidence-based trauma-focused therapies. Through compassionate sessions, we provide a safe space to leave the traumatic experience in the past so you can live your life again.

We work directly with the California Victim Compensation Board – a state program dedicated to providing reimbursement for many crime-related expenses to eligible victims who suffer physical injury or the threat of physical injury as a direct result of a violent crime.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

We partner with local immigration offices to provide extensive and thorough psychological evaluations based on client’s specific needs. Evaluations can be done via a video call for immigrants in California and New York.

A Message From Patricia

I genuinely come from a place where compassion and care is showcased within each therapeutic interaction. Reaching out and seeking therapy is hard…believe me, I’ve been there. It’s tough having to look in the mirror and know that we can’t do it alone…and that’s just it, that’s something that is so important to remember – we all need someone at any given moment throughout our life.

I consider myself a modern therapist in the sense that we are both taking an active role in the therapeutic process. I don’t just sit down and nod my head. Do I respectfully challenge situations? Yep! Can it be incredibly insightful? Yep! Can it be uncomfortable? Also yep! But the rewards obtained while looking inward and noticing what is happening within the mind, body, and soul are the best parts.

I am an EMDR Certified Therapist so that means less talk therapy and more processing and reprocessing and noticing what is happening in the body and “going with that.” This does not mean that you won’t ever get to share what is on your mind because I get it, at times it is very much needed. What this means is that we take some time to share, and then use that within EMDR to help challenge the negative thoughts that are coming up for you. What’s even better about my approach is that I have the ability to have EMDR sessions online, making this service so much more accessible.

Besides being an EMDR Certified Therapist, I am a CBT Therapist at heart. I believe that thoughts and feelings can affect behaviors. I believe people can change and be better versions of themselves. I believe that if we manage stress and anxiety within our kids and teens it allows them to use these tools in their adult life. I believe that if parents are less stressed, their children will be less stressed because they are mirroring each other’s behaviors.

Trauma can heal and relationships can prosper.

These beliefs are the same beliefs that I bring with every interaction, including those that I work with. This is why I have grown my practice to a group practice, bringing in people who align with my same core beliefs – believing that we are all capable of change while building a strong therapeutic alliance built on compassion, self-determination, and most importantly, empathy.

I want to thank you for reading and we look forward to connecting soon!

– Patricia
