A Message From Patricia
I genuinely come from a place where compassion and care is showcased within each therapeutic interaction. Reaching out and seeking therapy is hard…believe me, I’ve been there. It’s tough having to look in the mirror and know that we can’t do it alone…and that’s just it, that’s something that is so important to remember – we all need someone at any given moment throughout our life.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist so that means less talk therapy and more processing and reprocessing and noticing what is happening in the body and “going with that.” This does not mean that you won’t ever get to share what is on your mind because I get it, at times it is very much needed. What this does mean is that we take some time to share, then use that within EMDR to help challenge the negative thoughts that are coming up for you. What’s even better about my approach is that I have the ability to have EMDR sessions online, making this service so much more accessible.
Besides being an EMDR Certified Therapist, I am a CBT Therapist at heart. I believe that thoughts and feelings can affect behaviors. I believe people can change and be better versions of themselves. I believe that if we manage stress and anxiety within our kids and teens it allows them to use these tools in their adult life. I believe that if parents are less stressed, your children will be less stressed because you are mirroring each others behaviors.
Trauma can heal and relationships can prosper.
These beliefs are the same beliefs that I bring with every interaction, including those that I work with. This is why I have grown my practice to a group practice, bringing in people who align with my same core beliefs – believing that we are all capable of change while building a strong therapeutic alliance built on compassion, self-determination, and most importantly, empathy.
I want to thank you for reading and we look forward to connecting soon!

Online Couples Psychotherapy
Couples therapy can be equally as beneficial for a smooth sailing relationship as it can be for a relationship that’s on the rocks. It can be used as a tool to take a relationship to new heights and to rescue one that’s on the brink of falling apart.
Whatever the status of your relationship is, the logistics of planning and coordinating couples therapy between two busy schedules often proves challenging and that’s one area in which online couples therapy offers a huge advantage – all you need to get started is a laptop and a shared willingness to invest in your relationship.
Psychotherapy for Victims of Crimes
If you’ve been the victim of a serious crime, our aim is to provide a safe environment that allows you to reprocess the complex trauma. In doing so, you’ll be able to leave the traumatic experience in the past and continue living your life. We work directly with the California Victim Compensation Board – a state program dedicated to providing reimbursement for many crime-related expenses to eligible victims who suffer physical injury or the threat of physical injury as a direct result of a violent crime.
Immigration Psychological Evaluations
We partner with local immigration offices to provide extensive and thorough psychological evaluations based on the client’s needs. Evaluations can be done via a video call for immigrants in California and New York.
- Extreme Hardship Waiver
- Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
*Please note that current clients needing an evaluation will be referred out to another psychotherapist for completion of the assessment/evaluation.
