Who I Work With
I partner with children, teens, and adults including members of the LGBTQ+ community who are navigating the impact of marginalization, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. Many people come to therapy carrying the weight of environments that have made it difficult to feel safe, seen, or heard. Together, we explore emotions, behaviors, and beliefs with compassion not judgment so each person can express their needs clearly, reconnect with their values, and rediscover a sense of hope and possibility in daily life.
About
Growing up in a family affected by adversity and complex dynamics, I learned early on the power of connection, storytelling, food, and laughter as pathways to healing. These experiences deepened my understanding of trauma and resilience. After earning my B.A. in Human Development, I worked in Southern California nonprofits supporting individuals facing homelessness, substance use, and complex trauma. Witnessing both strength and the gaps in accessible mental health care inspired me to pursue my master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy.
Within my therapeutic style, I blend culturally responsive dialogue with somatic techniques that help the body express what words sometimes cannot. Each session balances warmth, gentle challenge, and moments of lightness to keep the process grounded within a safe, nonjudgmental, and personalized space. My approach is always tailored to the individual in front of me, guided by your unique goals and where you are in your journey. Many people share that they value the personalized, safe environment we build together where deep listening and meaningful exploration exist in balance.
I draw from Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma‑Informed Care, and Family Systems, all through a nervous‑system‑aware, embodied lens. Together we will clarify your values, practice new skills, and create lasting change long after therapy ends.
My deepest hope is that our work not only eases symptoms but also reminds you that joy, connection, and an authentic life are possible and deserved.
Hope is at the heart of every session. My goal is to support you in reclaiming hope especially if life has convinced you, it’s out of reach.
Off the Clock
You’ll often find me hiking local trails, biking along the coast, or savoring home‑cooked meals with family and friends.
