Who I Work With

Adults, children, teens, couples and families to help them navigate life’s challenges with intention and care.

About

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting diverse populations facing mental health challenges. Each encounter has deepened my belief in the transformative power of mental health care and strengthened my dedication to fostering emotional well-being. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to creating secure attachments and spaces where you can feel safe showing up as your authentic self. I believe in the importance of feeling all of our emotions, both the comfortable and the difficult, without judgment or pressure to move past them too quickly. Healing happens in connections, and I strive to build a therapeutic relationship where you can explore, process, and grow in a way that feels safe and empowering.

My approach is eclectic and pulls from a range of modalities such as CBT, DBT, Brainspotting, and Psychodynamic Therapy- all of which I integrate through a trauma-informed lens. At my core, however, I am a person-centered therapist, grounded in the belief that people are innately driven to grow and self-actualize. To support this, I rely on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence to create a nonjudgmental environment that encourages honest self-exploration.

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and guide you in a way that aligns with your values and goals. Rather than giving advice, I help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals so we can find a path forward that feels right for you.

I am here to help you move forward and reach your goals, but I also recognize that healing and growth don’t follow a set timeline. As you sit with and process your emotions- whether anger, sadness, frustration, or anything in between- I will sit with you. I am comfortable holding space for the full range of your experiences, including silence, uncertainty, and distress. I will stay patient with your process, but there will also be times when I challenge you- because I believe in your strength and capacity to grow. Together, we will find the balance between giving you the time you need and pushing you when you’re ready.

My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to show up as your authentic self- without pressure, expectations, or fear of being misunderstood. I want therapy to be a place where you don’t have to perform or hold back. I encourage you to bring your whole self (all emotions and uncertainties included) without worrying about how it will be received. Together, we will create a space that honors your experiences and allows you to explore and process what you need to in a way that feels safe and meaningful for you.

Off the Clock

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. I’m always on the lookout for new coffee shops, dessert spots, and restaurants to try. I also have a deep appreciation for art and go through phases of reading and picking up new crafting hobbies. Most importantly, I’m a dedicated dog mom!
